It's a security feature, you cant lock the driver side door from the inside, if the driver side door is open. its kinda stupid but i just started manually locking it once i close the door. hope this helps. 1 Answer. Acura rsx remote will not lock or unlock any of the doors or hatch back. Doors lock manually and alarm sets. Remote will turn off alarm but does not unlock any door. All actuators replaced. well an easier way to lock so you dont have to put your key in the keyhole is to: open your door to get out, grab the door handle and hold it as if you are opening your door, then press the lock stick thingy down. then let go. that essentially does what the remote would do if the door motor worked.:thumbsup. Definitely sounds like an issue with the actuator on the driver's side. When you unlock with the remote, the first push does just the driver's door and the second push does all the other doors and the hatch. Try that with your remote and see if when you do the second push all the rest of the doors open except the driver's side.
